PR Perfection
So CHC is based in the beautiful steel city of Pittsburgh, which is no longer known for fries on everything and football, but is up-and-coming in every area. We have interviewed women all over the city from Communication to Music, finding out what influences their fashion.
Our last interview is with the always chic and put together Deanna Ferrari! With reality shows glamming up PR, we were interested. So we caught up with Deanna for a little Q & A time to get some straight talk about PR and Fashion.
CHC: Hi Deanna! Thanks so much for taking time out to talk to us! Everyone is looking to make a little extra money, whether its Etsy, Avon, or their actual 9-5. What are your top 3 priorities?
DF: 1. Know your Product! Be familiar with your products, services, etc. 2. Get Creative! Especially using social media. 3. Keep developing relationships!
CHC: Those were great tips, Deanna. We think getting creative by using social media is essential now in business. Which do you prefer: Facebook or Twitter?
DF: Twitter!
CHC: We like Twitter too! (Although we are also hooked on Facebook!) We also know you are into blogging and love your blog PRetty in Pittsburgh -http://deannaferrari.wordpress.com/. What’s that all about?
DF: I started PRetty in Pittsburgh about 2 years ago and wanted it to be light and fun. I cover everything from healthy living, running, yoga, social media, and PR.
CHC: Blogs are such an excellent marketing tool, but they are also a fun way to unwind and have your voice heard! Ok, let’s talk fashion! What 3 business items should every career woman have in her closet?
DF: I would say black pants, a blazer or jacket, and a really good accessory! ( this could be a belt, scarf, necklace, etc.)
CHC: We love jackets/blazers for anytime! LOL What is your personal style, your go-to for the weekend?
DF: For the weekend, I love a good pair of jeans and a t-shirt, but I always keep things fun by piling on the costume jewelry.
CHC: Any last tips about fashion and PR?
DF: PR is pretty low-key, so nothing too formal. Oh and no panty hose! ( I hate panty hose)
THANKS DEANNA!!!!!

Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
